| 'Alf' Returning To Tv Alf, the sarcastic extraterrestrial star of the '80s NBC sitcom, is headed back to television. The furry, snouted creature is going to host his own talk show on Nickelodeon beginning in 2004. Dubbed Alf's Hit Talk Show, the half-hour program will feature interviews with celebrity guests, and is being produced by Paul Fusco -- the voice behind Alf -- and Jerry Springer producer Burt Dubrow. The cable network is developing the interview show in an effort to attract adult viewers to its nighttime programming. Prior to Nickelodeon's announcement, more than 7,000 Alf fans had signed an online petition to get the character back on television.
