Top Ten Dvds And Videos

Three new home video releases -- Seabiscuit, Freaky Friday, and The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen -- topped rental charts in their first week in stores. The horse racing drama Seabiscuit beat its competitors on DVD charts, with $6.45 million in revenue. Seabiscuit was followed on DVD by the body-switching comedy Freaky Friday in second place, and the Sean Connery action-adventure League Of Extraordinary Gentleman in third place. The movies also finished in the top three spots on video, only this time, League Of Extraordinary Gentleman beat Seabiscuit for the top spot. Last week's Number One rental, Pirates Of The Caribbean, slipped to fifth place on both charts.

The Seabiscuit DVD is loaded with behind-the-scenes and "making of" featurettes including an historic overview of the famed race horse in a segment called "Seabiscuit: Racing Through History." "Bringing the Legend to Life" delves into the making of the film with on-location footage and interviews with the cast and crew, including commentary by director Gary Ross and filmmaker Steven Soderbergh. "Photo Finish" provides viewers with a look at Jeff Bridges' on-set photographs.

In this clip from Seabiscuit, Red tells Tom that he can't see after losing a race: (Tobey Maguire) "It's not my fault. Not this time."(Chris Cooper)"I told you look out for Rosemont."(Maguire)"I thought I had it." (Cooper)"You stopped riding." (Maguire)"I couldn't see him." (Cooper)"What the hell are you talking about? He was flyin' up your tail." (Maguire)"I can't..." (Cooper) "What?" (Maguire)"I can't see out there."
