Lauryn Hill and Tupac Shakur's lyrics are the inspiration for Jesus and the Hip-Hop Prophets, a new book on spirituality. It looks at the prophecy in the music that the late Shakur and Grammy-winning Hill have produced.

Ministers John Teter and Alex Gee said they wrote the book to inspire others, according to allhiphop.com.

They authors were quoted as saying the lyrics, quote, "Paint an honest picture of life as it is lived, and hint at a vision of life as it ought to be lived."

Jesus and the Hip-Hop Prophets hit stores this month.
